Booth Zone Pricing and Inventory Worksheet
A one page worksheet for splitting the floor into priced zones, netting out sponsor holds, and seeing the revenue each zone can produce before booking opens.
Reviewed for 2026, updated September 8, 2026.
Pricing every booth identically ignores what every exhibitor already knows: the corner by the entrance is worth more than the back wall. The difficulty is not deciding that location matters, it is writing down a zone structure you can defend, counting how many booths are truly open for sale once sponsor holds come out, and checking whether the total still clears your costs. This worksheet puts those three questions on one page. Fill in your own counts and prices; the row notes describe what each zone typically looks like, not what you should charge.
Start with the booth counts from your approved floor plan or from the Expo Hall Booth Capacity Calculator at /tools/expo-hall-booth-capacity/, then compare the projected revenue total against the Trade Show Booth Break-Even Calculator at /tools/booth-break-even/. For the reasoning behind zone pricing, read /blog/price-trade-show-booths-fairly/, and for how to release expired sponsor holds back to the floor without discounting them, read /blog/hold-booths-for-sponsors/. The full booking cycle is covered in the guide at /guide/.
